Life saving organisation

direct review I have used Welfare Together after the sudden loss of my husband. There were so many things that I had no idea of how to deal with, there was so much financial stuff I didn’t have a clue about. Tracey Stone has supported me through extremely difficult times mentally and giving invaluable advice as to how to deal with things, many times I have wanted to just give up but I then contact Welfare Together and I get all the information I need and support, there isn’t many organisations out there like this one, it’s personal and treats you like an individual not just a number on the other end of the phone, if they can’t help you there and then they will seek the information you need and then always come back to you.

direct review My self and my partner received a letter from Welfare Together just over a year ago, opened it didn’t think too much off it and just kind of put the letter in the draw. Then the constant letters of debt collectors and late payments letters started building up and it was time to see what Welfare Together had to offer. Well, we spoke with the lovely Tracey and that was it. All our problems, worries and woes were gone. She was so helpful setting payment plans up and just taking the stress away. Cost of living was causing havoc and not seeing any money behind us was really hard. Fast forward and we actually were on top of all our bills and actually had some money behind us. End of the year I had my second baby and I went on maternity leave and money became a bit tight again. My partner left when my son was three months old and suddenly I was left with all the bills debts and rent! Tracey and Anita were so helpful, they helped me set up universal credit, sort out council tax support and was just at the end of the phone to support me through a tough time. I honestly can’t thank the team enough for how much they’ve helped the last year. I’m able to raise my two kids on maternity wage, keep the roof over my head and still have money to put food in the fridge and this wouldn’t have been possible without Welfare Together.

I can't begin to tell you how much this has given me peace of mind and a fresh start. To know there will be no bailiffs knocking on my door or unwanted debt letters coming through my letterbox. trustpilot review They help you come to a mutual agreement of what is best for you not the collector. They are very understanding and considerate. Setting up a payment plan is not hard when it’s welfare together is on the other end of the line.

It turns out I did not need the help, it had been only a problem with the direct debit going through, but I must admit that I was impressed with Welfare, what they do and stand for. They were super quick to help resolve the issue. They are there to help and made sure to tell me they are not a debt collecting company but instead they are there to provide assistance in difficult situations to people who need it. I liked that. The staff were brilliant on the phone!
