Welfare Together has achieved Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation, reinforcing its commitment to robust data protection and cyber security as the organisation continues to grow.
The enhanced certification follows a rigorous independent audit and builds on Welfare Together’s long‑standing Cyber Essentials status. With an expanding client base across councils, enforcement firms, housing associations, utilities and other creditors, the team recognised that now was the right moment to provide additional assurance that sensitive customer information is handled with the highest possible standards of security.
Cyber Essentials Plus goes beyond self‑assessment, requiring organisations to undergo hands‑on technical verification of their systems, controls and processes. Passing the audit demonstrates that Welfare Together not only meets but actively exceeds industry expectations around safeguarding data, preventing cyber threats and maintaining secure digital environments.
